Pecorino cheese and honey: throughout the month of May, celebrations will be held in the piazze and restaurants in the area surrounding Mount Cetona.

From the 2nd to the 31st of May, the event "I Sapori del Cetona" ( Flavours of Mount Cetona)  will take place to celebrate some of our most delicious culinary traditions. Markets selling local products, gastronomic contests, photography exhibitions and village festivals will be held in Chianciano Terme, Montepulciano, Cetona, Sarteano and San Casciano dei Bagni. The restaurants adhering to the event will take you on an exploratory tour of the culinary delights which for centuries have been part of the cultural heritage of the area.

The place of honour this year will be reserved for dishes whose main ingredients are pecorino cheese and honey. As always, prices will be promotional.
